The Death's-Head Hawk Moth are easily distinguishable by a vague human skull shaped pattern on the thorax of the Moth. These moths have unique and unusual features. If irritated they have the ability to emit a loud squeak and flash their brightly colored abdomen to deter predators. They also have been observed to raid beehives for honey. They are able to move around in hives because they can mimic the scent of the bees. These moths are truly unique and would make a fabulous statement piece!
