This unique albert watch chain is from my personal collection.
A lovely antique Victorian solid sterling silver double albert watch chain. Beautifully made with elongated links, it's easily adjusted to be wearable as a necklace or twice round as a bracelet. The links can easily be rearranged for the dog clips to attach at any length.
This albert watch chain was tested to be sterling silver, it is marked. All the hallmarks are visible but are rubbed and unclear due to age. To my knowledge, the dog clips are solid sterling silver, hallmarked, but are not the original. It does not spoil the integrity or beauty of this albert watch chain.
Besides the normal wear, the overall condition is quite impressive, considering it is over 100 years old. One of the dog clip is slightly disfigured, but it is still in great working condition (please see photo #2).
There are no damages or repairs. There are some patina and has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner. I have only gently wiped with soft jewelry cleaning cloth.
Length Approximately: 16.125” inches, includes the dog clips.

I have been specifically an antique collar buyer, for that reason, I do my best providing my descriptions as accurate as possible, and to point out flaws wherever I see them. I have included every detailed info that I would want to know as a buyer. Please feel free to message me if there is anything I left out.
